Hoërskool Overkruin
Hoërskool Overkruin, is a public school in Sinoville, Pretoria, Tshwane, RSA Hoërskool Overkruin’s Sports Department requested that four of the existing tennis courts be converted into a multi-sport artificial surface. This unique facility will allow Learners to play tennis, mini-hockey, and athletics on the multi-surface.Harriston School, Harrismith
Lucy Nouwens of Nouwens Carpets Harrismith and one of the founds of Harriston School, a English Medium school in Harrismith; put Sporturf in contact with Robyn Leslie, a parent of the school, to assist in their planned astro hockey/netball/tennis court at Harriston School in Harrismith.
Partial funding from an annual JoBerg2c mountain bike race from Heidelburg Gauteng to Scottburgh was used to build the astro.(artificial playing surface)
Sporturf assisted the school with information on the layer works required and the school’s representatives used a local contractor to complete the layer works. Harriston School used local contractors for the fencing, kerbing and paving around the facility.
Sporturf supplied and laid an insitu e-layer of SBR rubber crumb and Polyurethane binder with a paver machine. FieldTurf 13 mm turf was laid on the playing surface with line markings for hockey, tennis and netball.
